Zboard Gaming Keyboard & DOOM 3 Keyset Review

Posted on Wednesday, September 15 2004 @ 17:30:53 CEST by LSDsmurf

Whether they’re battling against computer generated opponents at the toughest level a game has to offer, or real ones online or at a LAN party, serious gamers spare no expense to gain an edge. To improve reaction time which could mean the difference between victory and defeat, a lot of attention has been focused on improving mouse performance with mice, mouse pads and accessories designed specifically for gaming.

Keyboards, however, have been a different story. Designed primarily for standard productivity applications and general use, little attention has been paid to keyboards to make them more comfortable or user-friendly to gamers. A company named Ideazon, however, hopes to change that with the Zboard Gaming Keyboard. Designed for the rigorous demands of today’s fast-paced games, Ideazon has billed the Zboard as “The Ultimate Gaming Keyboard.” Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Zboard along with the Zboard DOOM3 Keyset to test Ideazon’s claim.
