Matrix Orbital MX412 USB LCD Review

Posted on Friday, September 24 2004 @ 21:55:30 CEST by LSDsmurf

The highlight for this specific product is a 20x4 display area and the inclusion of an integrated keypad on the left and right hand sides. The bracket and keys are protected by a hard coated black Lexan overlay and includes pre-drilled mounting holes for simple installation into a standard case. The front black Lexan bay display includes a series of 15 pre-programmed keys. On the bottom left and right hand sides are directional arrow keys and three function keys labeled F1, F2 and F3. These keys make up the bulk of the keypad options and correspond to specific letter outputs when pressed inside an application program. The advantage of this type of functionality allows you define these keys for specific tasks when pressed and opens up several different scenarios for everyday use.
