    ASUS M3A79-T Deluxe Motherboard Review

Posted on Wednesday, November 05 2008 @ 20:42:19 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

ASUS has been the motherboard maker of choice for hardware enthusiasts for several years due to features like overclocking options in the BIOS, features of the motherboard, and performance of their boards. The ASUS M3A79-T board has the features that you would want from a 790FX board and has the best performance of any AMD board I’ve tested so far in most things.

The combination of the 790FX chipset and SB750 has some benefits including ACC meaning that the 790FX chipset now is on par with the 790GX in terms of overclocking features. ASUS has hit a home run with the ASUS M3A79-T board with excellent features, excellent performance and excellent overclocking. I find little to ding ASUS on except for the fact that the board could have a little better placement of the 24-pin power connector.
