    PopCap Games Bejeweled Twist Review

Posted on Thursday, November 06 2008 @ 13:46:35 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Bejeweled Twist is still fun, even if not as much so as the originals, but it does look and sound much better than its predecessors. The ambient music is fitting and it even includes between-level sequences where a spaceship flies to the next spot in outer space. Previous versions of Bejeweled appealed to a pretty broad audience, and Bejeweled Twist shouldn’t change that - after all, it’s just a ‘twist’ on Bejeweled. It’s still a great game, but after four years and all the hype we expected more. PopCap hasn’t mentioned whether Bejeweled Twist will hit other platforms beyond the PC, but considering the success of its games on mobile and consoles, it would be no great surprise to see Bejeweled Twist debut sometime next year on alternate screens.
