D-Link Xtreme N Gigabit Router Review

Posted on Tuesday, July 28 2009 @ 12:23:55 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

As soon as the electricity came back on so did the router (I really should have plugged it in the battery-powered surge protector). Once the power came back on, I did not have to reconfigure the router; the settings remained saved and the Internet connection worked flawlessly time and time again. As a matter of fact, the only time that I've had to reset and reboot the D-Link Xtreme N Gigabit Wireless Router has been when I manually altered the settings myself in order to make some games work. This really is a great, great product. But I also have to give credit to Comcast; even with the recent storms, the connection hasn't failed and as we all know, even the best router in the world can't help you if your Internet provider fails. If you spend a lot of time on the Net, the D-Link Xtreme N Gigabit Wireless Router is a great product. Depending on where you shop, the router is a bit over 100 dollars, but it is worth every single penny.
