Let’s Tap for Nintendo Wii Review

Posted on Wednesday, July 29 2009 @ 12:11:53 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

The Nintendo Wii is a video game console that’s supposed to be fun for the whole family, breaking down barriers that may have intimidated non-gamers in the past. Sega is continuing with this trend with the release of Let’s Tap for the Wii. This is a wholly different kind of Wii game, because you aren’t waggling and waving that Wii Remote in every which direction.

In fact, you don’t need to hold the Wii Remote at all, nor do you need to press any buttons or hit any directional pads. As its name implies, the way that you play Let’s Tap is to tap… a flat hard surface. The Wii Remote is placed face down on a surface of your choosing. The introductory tutorial suggests a tissue box of all things, but just about any flat and hard surface will do.
