ATI's New X850 and X800 Refresh: Launched Now, Available...Sometime. Review

At first glance, today’s launch of the ATI X850 product line and the X800 product refresh is a fitting cap to one of ATI’s best (calendar) years in the 3D industry. Over the past twelve months, ATI has developed several well-received chipsets for both P4 and Athlon 64 and gained significant market share in several industry segments. They’ve expanded their product offerings in both HDTV and mobile phone divisions, and they were the first video card manufacturer to offer a true PCI-Express solution that didn’t make use of a bridge chip.
