MSI was right on the ball with the new Maxwell 970 offering. MSI has always been pretty quick to get their own cards out but this time around they were the first to get us a custom model card for a new GPU launch which is very cool as it shows they are being very proactive on getting their cards into hands for not only testing but purchase even faster which of course means more available for all the gamers out there. The GTX 970 Gaming 4G is overclocked to a point that it can match or best most current gen flagship models or keep it really close. The new cooler design cools the card very well and is passive under normal desktop usage, yet when hopping in 3D and the fan spins up but even when overclocked we can say we didn’t remember ever hearing the fan at all.
