ROCCAT Pyra Wireless mouse review

Testing
I found the Pyra a bit too small for all-day use but it's a good companion for a laptop and for on-the-go gaming sessions. Due to its small size it's easily transportable and although its performance isn't entirely on-par with high-end desktop mice, it provides quite a decent tracking and accuracy, and I didn't encounter any input lag issues.

The Pyra driver software is pretty good too, it easily lets you assign special features to each button, you can enable a second functionality for each button via Easy-Shift[+] and you can even program macros with the Macro Manager. The mouse's base functionality can also be tweaked, you can adjust the DPI setting from 400 to 1600, alter sensitivity, vertical scrolling speed, horizontal tilt speed, Windows pointer speed, and double click speed. Other than that, you can also create, load and export profiles in case you want to use personalized settings for each game.

One of the downsides is that the mouse is quite power-hungry, it's optimized for gaming and the battery doesn't even last a day. However, I don't really view this as an issue as the included USB charging cable makes it very easy to charge the battery and it lets you continue operating the mouse during charging.
