Lamptron FC-10 SE fan controller review
Here's how the device looks with the front plate removed. Under each Nixie tube is an orange LED to highlight which channel is active.
Below is an overview of the front plates. The Special Edition of the FC-10 comes with a total of five plates to match your case. You can choose between steel black, black with a gold trim, gold, brushed aluminum black and silver.
The device has four fan channels, each channel can drive up to 30W! You can connect fans directly to the 3-pin connectors or use the included extension cables.
Switching from Celsius to Fahrenheit is done with a small jumper, it's located on the left of the green PCB in the upper right corner. Right under the green PCB is a jumper for the alarm, if the jumper is connected the device will sound an alarm when any voltage drops below 7V of when one of the temperature sensors exceeds 70°C (150°F).
The four temperature probes are plugged into the connectors labeled PT1-PT4.
The end our walkaround of the FC-10, here's a closeup of the Nixie tubes.
