Now what’s the difference between Sleeve and Ball bearing?
The biggest difference is the expected lifetime, Sleeve bearing fans have a lifetime of 30 000 hours and Ball bearing fans have around 50 000 life hours.
Another difference is that Sleeve bearing fans run on metal and oil only. Ball-bearing fan run on small steel balls around the axle.
