The Inquirer reveals the NVIDIA G71 and G73 GPUs won't support HDMI but graphics card makers can add such functionality.
No high end, then, from both of the camps. Nvidia told us that the G71 and G73 based cards can support HDMI but it is up to its pardners to make such a product. At this point we are not sure that anyone is making a HDMI 7900 GTX or GT card and we really think that there is a place in the market for such a card.

We also learned that Nvidia needs an external HDCP chip with security codes to make the interface works. We will keep our eyes open for a high end HDMI card.
