AMD Socket F servers in Q3 2006?

The Inquirer claims AMD will likely launch its Socket F server processors in the third quarter of this year.
That's not because there's problems with capacity, samples, and infrastructure, nor is it because feverish AMD spinners need time to craft their press releases.

No. AMD wants to see the cut of Intel's Woodcrest jib, it appears. Strange how Intel and AMD perform this gavotte when close to launch. But traditional, me hearties!
