F.E.A.R expansion confirmed

Posted on Monday, May 08 2006 @ 06:10:01 CEST by

Vivendi, the developer of F.E.A.R., announced it's working on a PC expansion pack to this FPS game.
The fall-out between Vivendi and Monolith over the future of the franchise has left development responsibility resting with the relatively unproven (in the FPS genre at least) Timegate Studios, though Vivendi assures us that Monolith will play an active role during development.

F.E.A.R Extraction Point picks up immediately where the original left off, with the F.E.A.R team returning to battle the now free Alma and her paranormal minions across a destroyed city. The expansion pack promises new locations, weaponry and enemies, with further information coming from the game's debut at E3.
