The Inquirer
writes Samsung and Microsoft are planning to launch a flash-based boot drive by the end of the month at WinHEC:
A Samsung spinner said that the firm has "tailored" the device to the always up-and-coming OS, Microsoft Vista.
It appears to be a kind of flash memory device which may well come with the Vista logo on it. This will please many, but cheese off electro-mechanical hard drive vendors. They continually hope their fortunes will rise.
