Reuters writes TiVo has made a deal with Brightcove to deliver Web TV. This will enable TiVo subscribers to receive TV-like programs delivered over the Internet:
TiVo did not disclose the terms of its agreement with Brightcove, a privately held, Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Internet TV outfit that helps programmers syndicate shows across the Web and collect revenue.

The companies said that the pact would offer an automated method for almost any publisher of broadband video using Brightcove's Internet TV services to distribute content to TiVo subscribers and potentially make money through advertising, subscription plans, or pay-per-view.
The content will be offered for free but may feature advertising.
