Intel Woodcrest faster than Opteron

The Inquirer discovered a filing on the BEA Developer forum, indicating Intel's Woodcrest has an edge over AMD's server processors:
The data, here, compares a result using Woodcrest on a Dell box, which the developer claims shows a 50 per cent boost over previous comparable X86 results, and also shows respectable results for big Unix servers from IBM, from Fujitsu, and from Sun.
