3DRealms says it won't rush Duke Nukem Forever

George Broussard, boss of 3D Realms, said the development of Duke Nukem Forever won't be rushed, despite being offered $500,000 to finish the project by Christmas.

In case you don't know, DNF was first announced in April 1997! That's more than nine years ago and still there's not even a release date yet.
Broussard said that he was certainly not motivated by that amount of money, after all this time, and getting the game right is what matters.

"I would never ship a game early, even a couple of months, for 500k," he said. ยต
Lets hope for 3D Realms that Duke Nukem Forever won't become an absolute flop. In terms of sales it probably won't, many people are still eagerly waiting for this game. Including me
