Apple iTunes Movie Store: What Does it Mean for Microsoft?

News hinting at possible discussions between Apple Computer and Hollywood Movie Studios broke yesterday when unnamed sources confirmed to a show business newspaper, Daily Variety, the possible partnership between the two parties to offer movies to iTunes customers for $9.99. After Bill Gates’ departure (from Chief Software Architect position) announcement few days ago, rumors of MicroPod surged again as the software giant hoped to tap into iPod’s market share to offer a seemingly useless device and/or service to users.
