NVIDIA claims the new NVPerfHUD 4 performance analysis tool will be able to increase the performance of applications by about 35 percent on average.
The new debugging heads-up display (HUD) program for Direct3D applications (DirectX 9.0c) is part of Nvidia's "NVPerfKit 2" suite of performance tools for software and game development and allows developers to debug and profile applications by using data from the application, driver, API, and GPU, Nvidia said.
