Since the introduction of the Xbox 360 there has been a plenty of debate and forum discussion on the topic of overheating Xbox 360s. The days following the launch of the Xbox 360 were filled with non-stop media coverage of a few highly publicized console failures due to overheating. The truth of the matter is that console failure rate, as reported by Microsoft, has been well below the average for other major electronic devices but the initial spotlight placed on overheating consoles has spawned a whole market segment devoted to cooling Microsoft’s new console..
