EVGA to launch GeForce 7950 GX2 with watercooling

Posted on Wednesday, July 05 2006 @ 01:03:54 CEST by

EVGA is working on an NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 based graphics card with watercooling:
Water-cooling system is likely to reduce noise levels produced by the GeForce 7950 GX2’s cooling fans and also is likely to allow the company to increase clock-speeds of the product, which will boost actual performance of the graphics card. Therefore, EVGA can declare the board as the fastest in the world.

The new graphics board from EVGA will belong to the family of Black Pearl graphics cards, which are the premium offerings from the company. Usually, the Black Pearl products come with water-cooling and increased clock-speeds. Typically, the price of the top products in the lineup approaches, orexceeds, the $1000 mark.
More info about this card at X-bit Labs.
