Building a Socket 939 Workstation

All told, this ended up being a great build. It does not use the newest technology or the most expensive parts, but I was able to put together everything I needed for a very solid computer. Once I make the move to the X2 processor the system will be just about perfect and should be able to give me a few years of reliable performance. This is the type of computer which value-conscious people who need a new computer should be looking into- it is not as sexy as a high-end AM2 or Core 2 Duo system, but its price/performance ratio is impressive, even without the Raptor X. My favorite feature of this case is its storage. The choice of a 150GB Raptor X and the 320GB mirror will be ideal for fast system performance matched with reliable storage. With the main drive being such a bottleneck in so many systems it is exciting to use something like the Raptor X and still not have to worry about capacity.
