AMD shines green under ATI's red glow

In what some might call a surprise move this week, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has bought out ATI Technologies for a whopping $5.4 billion US. Everyday users might not see the larger implications of this merger, but enthusiasts and gamers alike are already starting to wonder what this means. After emailing a few ATI PR people with little success, I turned to their competitor - NVIDIA, for their opinion. NVIDIA's Derek Perez shares some very interesting and exclusive information dealing with the merger and what they see in the future.
