Firefox 2 beta 2 delayed

Mozilla announced the second beta of Firefox 2 has been delayed by a further week.
Firefox 2.0 Beta 2 was set to appear this week, but will now make an appearance on the 15th of August. Despite the delay, the final Firefox 2 is still expected to be released on the original planned date - the 26th of September.

We've been trialing the first beta since its release, and are not surprised at the further delay. Quite a few crashes ensured we resorted back to the latest stable 1.5 release, after only a few days. Problems with the new spell checker appearing within the right-mouse-click menu even outside of any text entry forms, limited spelling options, and a lack of a British dictionary put us off further. This should all be sorted out for the final release though.
