Time Warner Cable announced the launch of PhotoShowTV as a free bonus for all digital cable and Road Runner highspeed internet subscribers.
Developed by Simple Star, PhotoShowTV allows users to create slide shows with digital photos and video clips, then show them on a TV screen, and publicly share them with other subscribers over Time Warner’s Video-On-Demand network.

“By converging our digital-cable and high-speed-online service, this new feature brings sharing the family photo album to a whole new level and gives users the opportunity to put their favorite photos and video clips on TV,” said Time Warner’s senior VP of on-demand product management, Bob Benya, in a statement.
