Intel G965 performance really bad?

Posted on Monday, August 14 2006 @ 17:50:54 CEST by

The Inquirer writes a Chinese website has tested the Intel G965 integrated graphics chip. The results don't look pretty:
According to PCOnline, the G965 'doth sucketh', paraphrased, but if you run that page through Bablefish enough, I am sure you can make those words come out.

They sucketh leth on high more shader intensive apps like 3DMark05 where they are only 10% behind their predecessor. That is the high point, on Quake3, they don't manage to hit 50% of the frame rate that the i945G hits.
You can check it out over here.
