The TechZone has posted Artificial Intelligence in Video Surveillance

The methodology of video analysis technologies (VAT) is very different than that of standard digital security systems. Using complex algorithms, a video analysis server will detect any number of specific behaviors and events that would fall into the ‘need-to-know-about’ classification. Examples of these could be - someone falling down due to attack, illness or accident. Loitering or running in a sensitive area, a suspicious object or vandalizing and graffiti. Video Analysis systems are designed not to trigger an alert that is ‘false’ – it will ignore events or activities that are unimportant.
