NVIDIA GeForce 7600GS AGP Performance

The GeForce 7600GS using the AGP interface was not quite what I hoped it would be, for a couple of reasons. First and foremost it is not nearly cheap enough and while prices will be driven down eventually, I think price cuts may come too late. The cheaper PCIe 7600GS cards are unquestionably faster and the problem with this is they are also cheaper. Even the Radeon X1600 Pro was quicker in most cases and when it did come in second to the 7600GS, there was very little in it.
