The official release time frame for Intel's quad-core "Kentsfield" processor was recently pulled forward from the first quarter of 2007 to the fourth quarter of this year, but the folks at eWeek have gotten hold of some more precise information. Sources close to Intel's quad-core plans have told the site that Kentsfield will hit store shelves in early November, just two months from now. Intel will reportedly reveal more official details during the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco on September 26-28.
