NVIDIA is rumoured to have given a small proportion GPU order to Chartered Semiconductor in Singapore.
While TSMC keeps manufacturing most of the NVIDIA products, GeForce 7100GS is the first model manufactured by Chartered Semiconductor.

TSMC is the main manufacturer for NVIDIA GPU products, while UMC is mainly manufacturing GoForce products for the mobile platform. The market said NVIDIA plans to give a proportion of GPU manufacturing to UMC and Chartered Semiconductor, to gain its bargaining power from TSMC and stabilize its supply. The proportion given to UMC and Chartered Semiconductor for manufacturing may around 10%, said friend of the market.
