Proof Why Closed Source Operating Systems are Failing

When you consider the fact that most people that I have spoken to have little to no interest in upgrading to the new operating system, one has to wonder is Microsoft really so naive in believing that users are going to put up with yet another security measure to jump through? They're still pissed about the hassle of getting XP to work without a trip to the telephone just to re-up with the registration folks! And with Vista, things are destined to get much worse...
