Intel Centrino Pro to introduce vPro technology

HKEPC writes Intel's Centrino Pro platform will introduce the vPro technology into the next mobile platform (Santa Rosa):
Also, there is news for Santa Rosa update. Sources from the industry said Intel has cancelled Core 2 Duo T5500 (1.66 Ghz/2MB L2/667MHz), which is previously the only 667MHz FSB model for Santa Rosa. Now just only 800MHz FSB Core 2 Duo T7000 family is included in Santa Rosa.

The idea of vPro in mobile platform is now named to Centrino Pro, which based on the next Santa Rosa platform. Intel Centrino Pro includes the second generation of IntelĀ® Active Management Technology (AMT) Ver.2.5, Intel Virtualization Technology (VT), the new Intel 965GM/PM Express chipset with ICH8-Enchanced, and the Intel 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection..
