Google released a new project today called Custom Search Engine. It allows you to create a free custom search engine that reflects your knowledge and interests.

G says you can specify which sites you want to include in searches and they provide you with all the code you need to put a nice search box and search results on your website. The look & feel can be matched to your own pages and with a plugin called Google Marker you can add and label sites in your Custom Search Engine (CSE) or in a Google topic.
