SiS will skip 90nm technology to utilize an 80nm process to manufacture the SiS673 chipset, with volume production scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2007, and VIA is said to start sampling its KM960 chipset (with DirectX 9.0c support) in July, the paper added.
