Children are influenced by many factors in their lives, and during a certain time period, the things that they're subjected to can have a direct impact on the things that they do in the future. They're constantly absorbing everything around them, and the information that they absorb becomes their new reality. That's why it's been said that a child's environment helps to determine what they will become. You can't count on this theory 100 percent, but it does usually have a strong bearing on personal development..
