A Wall Street Analysts claims Apple picked PortalPlayer to deliver chips for the new Apple iPhone. This company was recently acquired by NVIDIA.
This development, if true, further cements NVIDIA into future iPods as the graphics maker announced its acquisition of PortalPlayer earlier this month.

Analysts have also pegged NVIDIA to power Appleā€™s next-generation iPod video player, giving the Santa Clara company considerable influence in the hot market.
