Mushkin starts shipping DDR2-8500 memory

Mushkin announced the launch of its new DDR2 XP2-8500 memory modules.

These memory modules are clocked at 1066MHz and have 5-5-4-12 timings.

They are available in 512MB and 1024MB and there are also dual-channel 2x 512MB and 2x 1024MB packages.

The get these high clockspeeds you'll need to boost your memory voltage a bit, to about 2.2V or 2.4V to make it run smooth.
