Foxconn aims to ship a total of 10 million motherboards this year:
Christin Wang, Foxconn's global marketing manager, said that motherboard markets in the Asia-Pacific region are a chief focus for the company. In addition to Taiwan, the deal with eSys also targets Vietnam, Korea and Australia, Wang said, adding Foxconn and eSys may extend their partnership to China in the future.

Foxconn's own-brand motherboard shipments totaled eight million units in 2005, and will reach 10 million units this year, according to sources with the company.
