Asus SideShow laptop pictured

Posted on Sunday, December 03 2006 @ 14:15:33 CET by

Engadet published a picture of Asus' first laptop with SideShow.
Starting next year when Windows Vista becomes available, we're going to see more and more notebooks that feature built-in LCD displays on the exterior.

These auxiliary displays will allow you to do some things on your computer without needing to boot it up.

Currently it still looks a bit ugly - it looks like a pretty big bulge on the lid of the laptop but that will probably change as this technology matures.
