Samsung i600 - a slim 3G HSDPA phone

Samsung today presented a really good looking 3G smartphone with HSDPA support, the Ultra Messaging i600. The phone is powered by Microsoft's Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and measures only 113mm x 59mm x 11.8mm and weighing a mere 99g.

The phone has a QWERTY keyboard and features 2 digital cameras, a 1.3 megapixel in the back and a VGA camera in the front for video calling. The Samsung i600 has a large 2.3-inch display and supports audio and video playback.

The phone also features WiFi 802.11b/g and has Bluetooth 2.0 support. It has 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM and supports microSD memory cards.

Availability in Asia Pacific and Europe is planned for the first quarter of 2007.
