The Inq writes the RD600 will be AMD's last chipset for Intel processors. They also report that at least one manufacturer, DFI, will make motherboards with the RD600 chipset.
Early reports claims that this might be the best overclocking board for Intel CPUs of all time. It is supposed to be even faster than the Nforce 680i but fortunately for Nvidia there won't be many RD600 boards around.

Intel insisted to potential customers that this will be the last AMD chipset for Intel, ever. The former ATI chipset team could continue making good Intel chipset but this is now very unlikely to happen.
