Intel Bearlake G+ to compete with NVIDIA MCP79

Intel's upcoming Bearlake G+ chipset will compete against NVIDIA's MCP79 chipset, VR Zone reports.
On the ICH side, G33 will be paired up with the upcoming ICH9 series that support SATA Port Multiplier and Rapid Recover Technology. G33 is slated for launch in Q2 2007.

What lies ahead in Q3 2007 is the Bearlake G+ officially known as G35 that will sport the next generation DX10 graphics core along side with cool features such as HDMI/HDCP, 1080i H.264 decode and HD Audio.
