Intel Core 2 Quadro Q6600 available on January 7th

Intel will release the quad-core Q6600 a day before CES 2007 starts, on January the 7th.

This quad-core processor will be priced at $851 and will be clocked at 2.4GHz. Later in the first quarter of 2007, this processor will become a bit more affordable at a price of $530.

The dual-core E6600 costs $316 and will drop to $224 in Q2 2007.
