ThermalTake PurePower RX - new PSUs with 140mm fans

ThermalTake unveiled a new series of power supplies, the PurePower RX series. These new PSUs are cooled by a silent 140mm fan that produces only 16dB at 1300RPM. There are seven different versions available of the PurePower RX series:
  • PurePower RX Cable Management 450W
  • PurePower RX Cable Management 500W
  • PurePower RX Cable Management 550W
  • PurePower RX Cable Management 600W
  • PurePower RX 400W
  • PurePower RX 450W
  • PurePower RX 550W
  • You can see an example of this Cable Management feature on the photo on the right. It allows you to disconnect cables you don't need to improve the air flow in your case.

    Purepower RX Series power supply comes standard with 4 SATA connectors to power latest hard drives, maximum of 7 Molex connectors for optical drives or fans and maximum of 2 PCI-E connectors for powering multiple GFX cards setup from ATI or Nvidia. Multiple dedicated 12V rails found on Purepower RX Series power supply not only allows for higher wattage but also guarantees the CPU and GFX card(s) can operate at their optimal setting for ultimate gaming performance.
