Dell UltraSharp 2707WFP 27-inch LCD for $1,399.

Dell's widescreen LCD displays are pretty popular and today Dell added a new model to the family, the 27" UltraSharp 2707WFP.

Lets take a look at the features:
  • 27-inch widescreen viewable image size
  • Maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)
  • 6ms response time with 1,000:1 contrast ratio
  • Dell TrueColor Wide Cold-Cathode Fluorescent Lighting (Wide-CCFL) backlight that delivers deep and vibrant reds, greens and blues and accurate color representation
  • Integrated 9-in-2 media card reader in a slim monitor bezel
  • Beveled glass base with solid aluminum chassis
  • Height-adjustable stand with tilt and swivel capabilities
  • Four USB 2.0 ports for connecting devices such as digital cameras and printers
  • Three-year limited warranty
  • The Dell UltraSharp 2707WFP is priced at $1,399.

    Indeed, it's a bit more expensive than the 30-inch UltraSharp 3007WFP. But the 3007WFP is currently on discount, ships for $1,499 normally, and the 2707WFP's contrast ratio and response times are better.

      I'm looking forward to getting the 3007WFP-HC when Dell offers it as a separate item (it's available with systems now) for ~ $1,699.00.
