NVIDIA not planning 90nm GeForce Go 8800 for notebooks

VR Zone claims NVIDIA won't launch a 90nm GeForce Go 8800 series for laptops as it's a bit too much for a notebook to handle.

Only the somewhat less powerful G84 and budget G86 GPUs will get a notebook version. These chips are expected in the second quarter of this year.

In the third quarter of this year, when the GeForce 8800 gets a die shrink, the company will launch a notebook version of the GeForce 8800.
