NVIDIA is working on cheap GeForce 8300 graphics cards, The Inq reports.

We're going to see two G83 based cards: the GeForce 8300 GT and the GeForce 8300 GS.

GeForce 8300 GT:
This is the fastest model of these two low-end GPUs. It's made on a 80nm process and features 32 stream processors. The GeForce 8300 GT core runs at 500MHz and it has 128-bit memory that runs at 1200MHz. The card will be deliverable with 128MB and 256MB. Price is between $89 and $99.

GeForce 8300 GS:
This part will be a bit cheaper, the 128MB version sells for $69 and the 256MB version for $79. Pretty cheap DirectX 10 graphics cards. However, it has only 24 stream processors. The core is clocked at 500MHz, just like the GT version, but the 128-bit memory is clocked at only 1000MHz.
