TeamCyclops announced their CycloWiz modchip for the Nintendo Wii console is upgradable via DVD.

Direct boot of Nintendo Wii backups

Runs imported GC games (needs swap)
Built-in audio fix (no patch needed)
Compatible with multi-disc games

The CycloWiz modchip is already shipping for less than $45 in the U.S.
