Asus watercooled GeForce 8800 GTX

Posted on Thursday, February 08 2007 @ 00:06:53 CET by

Asus today presents the watercooled EN8800GTX AquaTank graphics card. This card's GeForce 8800 GTX is overclocked by Asus from 575MHz to 630MHz, the shader clock from 1350MHz to 1458MHz and the 768MB DDR3 memory is overclocked from 1.8GHz to 2.06GHz.

According to Asus this overclocked card performs 11% better and runs 12°C cooler than generic GeForce 8800 GTX graphics cards.

Pre-sorting and stringent high quality checks on boards ensure that the EN8800GTX AquaTank/HTDP/768M can bear higher clock speeds. Add in new sets of overclocked configurations that are stable yet surpass conventional settings, and users can enjoy up to 11% faster graphics performance when compared to the already cutting-edge standard of GF8800GTX graphic cards.
